The Russian Archive Project



The Russian Archive Series publishes up to date guides to the main Russian archives. Funded by the National Council for Soviet and East European Research, the RAS provides technical and financial support to the archives, enabling them to prepare new guides and descriptions of their collections.

The books are edited by archivists and scholars, printed in Russia, and hardbound on acid-free paper. The RAS publications are distributed through the Russian Publication Project (RPP) housed at the Center for Russian and East European Studies at the University of Pittsburgh.
