Since I work at a University that receives part of its funding from the State of California, I have elected to leave most of the materials created (or assembled) for my web pages in the public domain. I track daily usage and am very pleased to see hits from a wide range of IP addresses all over the world.

If you have linked to any of these materials for teaching purposes, recommended them to your students, use them yourself in your studies, or otherwise benefit from their existence, I would appreciate hearing from you. Web site maintenance is very costly in terms of time. It is partly a hobby for me, but maintaining the site also takes away somewhat from the research efforts for which faculty at my university have traditionally been evaluated. It would be nice to be able to document any public benefits enjoyed by others as a consequence of its existence.
