Glenn, 83, of Baughman Corner, Cabot R.D. 1, died at 9:20 p.m. yesterday in the Allegheny Valley Hospital, after a short illness. Born April 21, 1883, in West Sunbury, he was the son of the late Campbell Robison and Martha Jane Allison Glenn. Mr. Glenn was a retired machinist of the Mesta Machine Company of Pittsburgh, He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Sarver.      His brother Samuel Walker Glenn and his sister Harriet Newell Glenn married respectively Emma McCandless and William Harrison McCandless, sister and brother of his wife Emeline McCandless: Three siblings marry three siblings. The three McCandless's were grandchildren of John McCandless and Jane Carothers. (Their father was John F. McCandless, grandfather William McCandless).      Mary HENDERSON was born on 30 April 1779. She married William CHRISTY, son of James CHRISTY and Mary CAMPBELL, on 26 April 1802. Mary HENDERSON died on 8 November 1857 at Kinsman, OH, at age 78.

     Carl I. HENNING was born on 10 September 1903. He married Edna Pearl COULTER, daughter of Samuel Young COULTER and Anna Dill GLENN, on 11 November 1927 at Wellsburg, W.Va.. Carl I. HENNING died on 31 May 1991 at age 87.

C. B. Hodge Dies After Long Illness
Mr. C. B. Hodge passed away at the Sterling hospital, Sunday May 26 at 3:15 following an illness of several years.
Mr. Hodge was born in Sterling a son of Dr. Charles Hodge, one of be early physicians here. His entire life was spent in this city. As a young man, he was associated with his father in the drug business, and later was a member of the drug firm of Cooke & Hodge. Still later, he opened an office here and conducted a loan and insurance business until he was obliged to retire on account of ill health, about two years ago.
Keenly interested in anything for the good of the city and community, Mr. Hodge was a charted member of the Chamber of Commerce and of the Sterling Rotary
Club. He was a Shriner in the Masonic Order and a life member in the Elks Club. He was well known over the state, and many friends from a distance came to see him during his illness. Among the recent ones were Mr. and Mrs
Harry Muchnic, of Atchison and Mrs. D. J. Fair, of Topeka; Mr. Will Pearson, of Kansas City,
Mo; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mayer, of Hutchinson; Mrs. Lewis Erlich. of Kansas City, Mo; Mr. Roland Hadley, of Wichita; Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Martin, of Santa Clara, Calif. and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Coggshall, Solomon.
Mr. Hodge is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alice Roy Hodge, and his daughter, Elizabeth Jane, a student in Kansas University.
Christian Science services were held in the Porter Funeral Parlors, Tuesday, May 28, at 2:30 p.m. Burial was made in the Sterling Community Cemetery. 1946.

     William Kennedy: "My sister Catharine professed religion when about fifteen and joined the Methodists. I think a more blameless character could not be found. She married Absalom Monks a worthy man. They left a numerous family in Butler County, Pennsylvania." Catherine Ann KENNEDY was born on 27 November 1787 at Westmoreland, PA. She married Absalom MONKS, son of Thomas MONKS and Mary MACE, on 10 May 1810. Catherine Ann KENNEDY was buried in 1854 at Middlesex Presbyterian Church, Butler County, PA. She died on 6 March 1854 at Middlesex Twp., Butler County, PA, at age 66.

     George KENNEDY was buried at Kennedy-Sowers C, Sylvania, Parke Co., IN. He was born on 14 January 1803 at Butler, Butler County, PA. He died on 16 July 1871 at Parke, IN, at age 68.

Martin KENNEDY died on 11 September 1820 at Butler, Butler County, PA, at age 55.

He died in 1834 leaving his wife and six children. Second wife Charity ?. William Kennedy: "Martin you know. I have good hope in his end." Martin KENNEDY married Eleanor PELLETT. Martin KENNEDY was born on 28 September 1800. He died in August 1834 at age 33.

     Rebecca KENNEDY was buried at Middlesex Presbyterian Church, Butler County, PA. William Kennedy: "Rebecca married Robert Stuart. I am not acqainted with him.      Louise Magdeline LACHNER was buried at Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg, PA. She was School Teacher. She was employed. Pittsburth Tribune-Review: Louise L. Liddell, 93, formerly of Greensburg, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2003, in New Orleans, La. She was born March 17, 1910, in Beaver Falls, a daughter of the late John and Anna Elsner Lachner. She grew up in New Castle and graduated from Slippery Rock State Teachers' College in 1929. Her first teaching position was in a one-room rural schoolhouse during the Depression. She taught for 28 years in the Southwest Greensburg and Greensburg Salem School districts. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg for more than 62 years; a member of the Greensburg College Club, where she enjoyed playing bridge after her retirement; and a member of Westmoreland County Association of School Retirees. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Glenn Liddell. She is survived by a daughter, Dianne Liddell Hunt; son-in-law, David Hunt; and granddaughter, Amanda Liddell Hunt, all of New Orleans; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Services will be in the funeral home following visitation, with the Rev. Martin Ankrum officiating. Interment in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. Born March 11, 1887, in Middlesex Township, Butler County he was the son of the late Robert Scott and Catherine Ann Monks Harbison.
He was a retired School Teacher. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Harbison of Ligonier, R. D. 1, three daughters, Mrs. John (Mary) Rogers of Maryland, Mrs. Robert (E. Joan) Graham of Saxonburg, R. D. 1, and Mrs. Leroy (Thelma) Jack of Sarver; a son, Donald L. Harbison of New Florence, Pa. and seven grandchildren.
