     Laura Scholl GIBSON married Roy Jay GLENN, son of Campbell Robison GLENN and Martha Jane ALLISON. Laura Scholl GIBSON was born on 11 August 1889. She died on 17 May 1974 at age 84.

     Elizabeth Jane HODGE was employed. She was born on 24 July 1923. She married Robert ASHLOCK on 20 December 1947. Elizabeth Jane HODGE died on 18 May 2001 at Sterling Community Cemetery, Sterling, Rice Co, Kansas, at age 77.

     Michael KLINE was born on 25 April 1782. He married Elizabeth LEONARD, daughter of George LEONARD and Elizabeth YOST, on 21 January 1805. Michael KLINE died on 6 June 1827 at age 45.

     Matilda RUSSELL was employed. She was born on 29 November 1826 at Westmoreland Co., PA. She died on 5 September 1908 at Rock Dell Twp., Olmsted Co. MN, at age 81.

     Amanda Melvina FITZGERALD was buried at Lancaster, Lancaster, PA. (an unknown value). She was born on 29 December 1826. She died on 19 September 1883 at Lancaster, Lancaster, PA, at age 56.

     John Kenneth McDIVITT Rev. married Martha Helen LIDDELL, daughter of William Stanley LIDDELL and Mary Della GLENN. He was born on 31 January 1907.¹ He died on 26 October 1983 at age 76.¹

     SSI Index - Roy McGinnis, born Mar. 11, 1910, died Feb. 23, 1988, last known residence Volant, PA 16156, SSN 191-05-2618, card issued in PA. Roy McGINNIS was employed. He was born on 11 March 1910.¹ He married Glenda Clare LIDDELL, daughter of William Stanley LIDDELL and Mary Della GLENN, on 23 November 1931. Roy McGINNIS died on 24 February 1988 at Volant, Lawrence, PA, at age 77.¹

     Thomas ROBERTS was employed. He was born on 10 May 1793 at PA.¹ He married Ann MONKS, daughter of John MONKS, on 26 April 1813 at Chester Co. PA. Thomas ROBERTS died on 3 January 1880 at Penn Twp.Morgan Co. Ohio at age 86.

     December 4, 1855 VILLAGE RECORD Death Notice Recently, in West Bradford, of Consumption, REBECCA MONKS, consort of John Monks, aged 39 years. Rebecca CLAYTON was born circa 1816. She married John MONKS, son of John MONKS and Zillah HARRY, on 5 February 1852 at W.Bradford, Chester, PA. Rebecca CLAYTON died in November 1855.

     Mary Ann DONAHUE married Thomas MONKS, son of John MONKS and Zillah HARRY. Mary Ann DONAHUE was buried at Brandywine Baptist Church Burying Ground.¹ She was employed. She was born on 26 September 1825. She died on 30 September 1876 at Kennett Twp. Chester, PA, at age 51.

     Aria McCALLEN married John Ebenezer RUSSELL, son of James RUSSELL and Agnes (Nancy) CUNNINGHAM.¹ Aria McCALLEN was born in 1829. She died in 1912.

     Elizabeth McAFEE married Samuel RUSSELL, son of David RUSSELL and Isabelle HARPER. Elizabeth McAFEE was buried at PleasantValleyPr, Cherry Twp., Butler County, PA. Death date on tombstone. She was born in 1794. She died on 2 August 1850.

     Clark RUSSELL was employed. He was born on 4 June 1829 at Butler county, PA. He died on 1 April 1920 at Belvidere, Flora Twp., Boone Co. IL, at age 90.

     James SILL was buried at Friends' Cemeter, Edgmont, Delaware, PA. Futhey and Cope (1881), p. 56: "James Sill of Edgemont [sic], Chester County provided wagon hauling service between Edgemont and Carlile for His Majesty (and Ge. Forbe's expedition) on July 9, 1759 and received L 5 s for 44 days hauling. Occupation: Sawyer. Land in Edgmont bounded by Ridley Creek, lands of Joseph Baker, Samuel Bishop, Samuel Lewis: 80 acres.

Will made July 3, 1772, probated Apr. 15, 1774. Names wife Ann, Sons James, Richard, George, Michael, Daughters Mary Norris, Martha Holston, Ann Kennedy, Grandson James Register.

Served in the French and Indian War. He was employed. He was born circa 1700. He married Ann BAKER, daughter of Joseph BAKER Jr. and Martha WOODWARD, circa 1721. James SILL died in 1774 at Edgmont, Delaware, PA.

     Martha McGINNIS was buried at Red Brick Pres., Mariasville, Venango, PA. She was born in 1790. She married John RUSSELL, son of David RUSSELL and Isabelle HARPER, circa 1825. Martha McGINNIS died on 20 August 1872 at Richland Twp., Venango, PA.

     Sarah McKEAN married Caleb RUSSELL, son of David RUSSELL and Isabelle HARPER. Sarah McKEAN was buried at Mt Irwin Cem, Irwin Twp., Venango, PA. She was born in 1804. She died on 12 November 1866.

     A second cousin of David Russell, he came from Letterkenney, Donegal Co. Ireland, and worked on David's farm and in 1795 married David's daughter Jane. When she died of childbed fever in 1813, David took in and raised two of her children, James and Catherine. James RUSSELL was born circa 1756 at Letterkenny, Carnagil, Ireland. He married Margaret Jane Russell, daughter of David RUSSELL and Isabelle HARPER, in 1795. James RUSSELL died in 1847 at Concord, Butler County, PA.

     Uriah MATSON married Rebecca STERLING, daughter of Joseph STIRLEN and Mary PORTER. Uriah MATSON was born circa 1749 at Ireland. He died in 1816.

     Thompson RUSSELL was employed. From Gail Coleman:

The first record I uncovered for Thompson was the 1860 Anoka Co., MN census
for Rockdell Twp. Sometime around 1869, the family moved briefly to Iowa
where my gr grandmother Julia Rebecca Russell Weekley was born Mar 31, 1870.
By about 1873, the family was back in Linwood Twp., Anoka Co., MN again.
From census records I have determined that Thompson and Almira/Alvira Russell
had the following children: Edith b. abt 1861, Leander b. abt 1863, Eben b.
abt 1866, Clark b. abt 1868, Julia b. 1870, Lawrence b. abt. 1873 and Agnes
b. abt 1879. James Russell was living next to the family in 1860, who I
suspected to be his younger brother. He was still in Linwood Twp. for the
1900 census and one of his sons, Lawrence, was still there in 1920. I have
been unable to locate his date of death or place of burial so far. He died at Minnesota. He was born on 19 September 1831.

     Listed in The Sterling Genealogy. No birth date listed. 8 Children listed. Sarah STERLING was born circa November 1806 at Derry, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania. She married John M. JACKSON before 1832. Sarah STERLING died on 15 September 1872 at Delmont, PA.

     !Listed in The Sterling Genealogy. Listed as a farmer in Derry on the land of his grandfather. (Joseph Sterling). 10 children listed. William STERLING was born on 27 April 1808 at Derry, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth DONALDSON on 27 January 1831. William STERLING died on 8 May 1880 at age 72.

     Listed in The Sterling Genealogy. Listed as a farmer at Hillside, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania. 4 children listed. Robert STERLING was born on 16 April 1810 at Derry, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania. He married Margaret MORRISON before 1833. Robert STERLING died in 1876.

     Source of dates: Means Family of America. Son of Thomas and Elizabeth Paxson Hartley of Bucks Co. Pa. This was his second marriage. They had 10 children. Joseph HARTLEY was born on 18 October 1742. He married Elizabeth WASSON, daughter of John WASSON and Nancy Ann MEANS, on 8 November 1767. Joseph HARTLEY died on 9 June 1824 at age 81.

     Died fighting Indians on August 27, 1823. John THOMPSON was employed. He was born circa 1787. He married Annabelle (Ann) WASSON, daughter of William McClelland WASSON and Jean McDOWELL, before 1810. John THOMPSON died in 1823 at Missouri.

     An early settler of Butler, Co. arriving there in 1798 along with Hugh and William Wasson.¹ John ADAMS was employed. He was born in 1765 at Ireland.² He married Annabelle (Ann) WASSON, daughter of William McClelland WASSON and Jean McDOWELL, circa 1824. John ADAMS died before 22 February 1838.
