Virtually all the family is from Pennsylvania. My father's side is mostly from the Lancaster area, although he was born in Pittsburgh. His father was born in Kansas, but raised in Lancaster. My mother's side settled early Chester settled early Chester Co. PA, but moved west, remaining until the 20th century in Butler Co. PA.
