Sociology 113, "Statistical and Computer Methods in Social Research"

If you haven't already done so, establish your Bruin OnLine BOLid. The computer program will ask you for: (a) your 9-digit UCLA registration number; (b) your date of birth; (c) your selected BOLid, either accepting the one suggested by the program or typing in an alternative; and (d) your selected password. The password may be changed later, but the BOLid is permanent, so if you override the default BOLid suggestion, do so with care; a BOLid that seems cute now may seem immature or otherwise embarrassing later, when it is on such things as email to prospective employers. When you are ready with those items, telnet to the BOL Access Server, login as "newuser" (no password needed), and follow the online instructions.
If you haven't already done so, create your PC-formatted BOL preferences disk.
