Welcome to my web page. I am a Professor in the Department of Political Science at UCLA. My research and teaching focus on ethnic politics, research design, and the political economy of development in Africa. I am the co-organizer of the Working Group in African Political Economy (WGAPE). During the 2010-11 academic year, I will be on leave from UCLA as a visiting fellow at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University. Contact Information
