25. Peacemaker was the company name for the giant B-36
bomber of the 1950's, which toted a 20-megaton bomb. The name was generated
by a contest among the employees, who also came up with Peacekeeper, Peacemaster,
Peacebinder and PeaceEagle. Peacemaker was also to be applied to a Swiss-designed
low-tech aircraft manufactured for the Army of the Republic of Viet Nam.
