Road Etiquette

ROAD ETIQUETTE: Plagiarism

What is plagiarism?

Plagiarism is using other people’s ideas or words without giving them credit.

Plagiarism is not a way to acknowledge the importance of other people’s work.

Whether you mean to or not, plagiarism is taking other people’s ideas or words and presenting them as your own.

Watch "SiB - Students in Black " to see some consequences of plagiarizing (3.5-minute movie).

Plagiarism is not acceptable, but how can you avoid it?
