Travel and Refund
Speakers will have the option of booking their own tickets (economy class tickets will be reimbursed within two months) or letting UCLA make the reservations.
Speakers wanting to arrange their own travel to Los Angeles Airport (LAX) are requested to keep their tickets and receipts and to send them to Magda Yamamoto once the trip is completed.
If speakers require UCLA to book their tickets (preferred option) they will need to indicate either the flight number, or the times and dates that they wish to travel, and to fill in and send the attached statement of citizenship ASAP to Magda Yamamoto, Institute of Archaeology, Fowler Building, UCLA, Los Angeles CA 90095, USA.
Please note that the Advanced Seminar will run from the morning of Thursday the 8th to the evening of Friday the 9th of January 2004 in UCLA. Speakers may therefore wish to arrive on Wednesday the 7th and leave on or after the morning of the 10th. Accommodation is provided for three nights, 7th-10th January.
Arrangements can be made to collect speakers from the airport.
