In order to be eligible for inducted membership in the Theta Upsilon Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, general members must have accumulated twenty-five points through participation in the chapter or nationally sponsored activities
Inducted members will be honored at the annual department dinner and be eligible to wear the PAT cord and sash at graduation.
1. Submitting a paper to Quaestio, the Phi Alpha Theta sponsored UCLA undergraduate history research journal shall be worth one (1) point. Multiple submissions are eligible for multiple points.
2. Having a paper published in Quaestio shall be worth two (2) points.
3. Working on a committee convened by the Executive Board to assist Phi Alpha Theta with event planning, campus relations, fundraising, etc. shall be worth three (3) points.
4. Attendance of a chapter membership meeting shall be worth four (4) points.
5. Attendance of the chapter-sponsored History Department faculty-student dinner shall be worth four (4) points.
6. Attendance of a chapter sponsored faculty lecture shall be worth five (5) points.
7. Attendance of the regional Phi Alpha Theta conference shall be worth five (5) points. |
