TECHNOLOGY AND CURRICULUM DESIGN

 

LIZ ROTH-JOHNSON and DEB PIRES who have been intimately involved with rethinking the Life Sciences Core and teaching its new courses will discuss options for flipping classes, technologies involved, and pedagogical choices they and their colleagues have made using backward course design for the new LS 7A/B/C sequence. JOHN MAMER, Professor at Anderson Graduate School of Management, will speak to the ways in which technology has changed and continues to change the ways in which the school is able to serve that larger audience. Chairing the session will be ELLEN OSMUNDSON, Project Director of the University of California’s Innovative Learning Technology Initiative who will also provide an introduction to some of the cross-campus curricular innovations developed by faculty from multiple campuses.
