Black aluminum boilerplates. No serial number printed, but "88" painted on the case. Hagelin Cryptograph Company and Smith & Corona Typewriters. White card boilerplates. "CACH" is the code for Smith Corona
Notice the difference between the rivet or spot welded hinge fastenings. View of the left hinge for the inner cover. CSP-1500 and M-209-A with rivets and hinges with rounded corners. M-209-B spot welded with squared corners.

"R1" Marking Die-Cast into Base. CSP-1500 with shortened "1" and M-209-A. M-209-B. There may be subtle differences in size and proportion.
