As I have not been keeping up with the updates on this fun little page during the Great Tenure Scramble of aught-8 (by the way, isn’t it interesting that we are now almost eight years into this decade and there still isn’t an accepted common name for it, ala “the nineties” or “the eighties?” I was all for “the Aughts” but that didn’t seem to catch on. I gather people have standardized on just weakly referencing “the new millennium” or “since the turn of the century.” Sad).

Anyway, if you were foolishly relying on this page to tell you what was worth consuming on the Holy Glowing Tube, I can safely and in good confidence just refer you to the good folks at http://televisionwithoutpity.com, who are skilled in their craft and won’t steer you wrong. Based on the BatGat section, the fan discussion sites are quite signal-ful (as opposed to noisy sites one finds elsewhere). The site has a great track record (Bravo shows aside: they were bought out by Bravo and seem to over-emphasize those shows on their front page), and has steered me toward shows I initially dismissed that turned out to be as good as they said (How I Met Your Mother being the main example).
