Every time I teach CS158 (Evolution of Communication Technology), I make sure to include a visit from the International Print Museum’s “History in Motion” traveling exhibit. Through an engaging, hands-on presentation by the Museum’s director, Mark Barbour, students have a rare opportunity to see how print technology evolved over time. Thanks go to the UCLA Office for Instructional Development’s faculty minigrant program for funding this every year. And thanks to Alvaro De la Fuente for taking pictures of this year’s presentation.
