Anthropology and Anthropological Study
Anthropology in its broadest sense is the study of our humanity, both across the globe and across time. For this reason, our club welcomes all interested and curious individuals to participate. Anthropological study is appropriate for people with a wide variety of interests, since it has strong ties with subjects ranging from life sciences, biology and psychology, to humanities, linguistics, political science and the fine arts.

The UAA is an officially recognized and departmentally sponsored organization whose purpose is to supply information and organize events such as workshops, talks, volunteering in the community, conferences, and fieldtrips, which pertain to anthropology, with the hope of benefiting undergraduates’ experience at UCLA. In addition, the UAA serves as an intermediary between the undergraduate anthropological scholars and the faculty/administration.
