Welcome to the website for Air Force ROTC Detachment 055! Det 055 is hosted by the beautiful University of California, Los Angeles. I am C/Col Fabros, the current Cadet Wing Commander. Here at Det 055, our mission is to prepare cadets morally, mentally, and physically to be commissioned as 2nd Lieutenants in the United States Air Force. We have cadets that come from all over Southern California, including UCSB, UCI, CSUN, and many other two or four year institutions. At Det 055, cadets are taught leadership and followership skills that will help them become effective leaders in the United States Air Force. Through our weekly activities, cadets learn these skills as well as build a great amount of camaraderie amongst each other.
